Activities
The museum is constantly developing activities to share its ideas.
These may take the form of workshops, guided tours, theatrical performances, gestural conferences, film screenings, or guide training.
Contact the museum team to find out if there is an activity that meets your expectations and if volunteers are available on the days you want!
Some Examples
Esperanzah
Every summer since 2014, the collective is present at the festival Esperanzah! With the goal of raising awareness among festival goers on the theme of capitalism through debates and activities.
Bike Beats
From 2017 to 2019, the collective led the “Bike Beats” project: four days of cycling with young people from the Namur region. Just like the four rooms of the Nomadic Museum, the aim was to meet key players in our society and discuss with them the origins, hopes, limitations, and alternatives of capitalism. The young people produced a summary of their encounters in the form of a podcast or a comic strip, which were shared with the audience at the Esperanzah Festival.
La Culture a de la Classe
This program is aimed at French-speaking schools located in the Brussels Region, across all education networks. Created by COCOF in 2000, it enables projects to be developed during school hours that promote reading, artistic expression, active citizenship, etc. among students from nursery school to short-cycle higher education. More information on this website. The collective has participated in this program several times:
- 2017-2018: collaboration with the Escale du Nord cultural center and the Marius Renard Municipal Institute around the presence of the Museum in Anderlecht.
- 2018-2019: collaboration with the Institut de la Providence (Woluwé St Lambert) and the Institut Technique du Cardinal Mercier (Schaerbeek), culminating in an exhibition at PointCulture Botanique (Brussels).
- 2019-2020: collaboration with the Institut Technique Cardinal Mercier and the Institut de la Providence on the theme of work.
